In a couple of months we will begin a major remodel of our master bathroom. Basically we will be stripping back to the studs and replacing everything. My main concern is replacing our large jetted tub with a soaking tub. I've read some posts at the home improvement center's websites about problems people have with installing this type of tub. Has anyone had any experiences with these? I'm wondering about the water supply valves; how are these to be hidden so you don't see them? Also, should the tub be installed before or after the flooring is replaced? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Water lines are easy to rerun behind the wall, the hard part will be relocating the drain line.
The new one will not line up with the old one.
Most often the tub goes in first, before the flooring.
