I'm hoping you guys can help me out before I have to pay someone to come fix my issues.
So I turn my ac down on my nest thermostat to call for AC. The fans come on and air handler kicks in, but it only blows out air. I got outside and notice my Compressor doesn't turn on. I can go to my breaker box, shut off the power to heat/AC and turn it back on, Call for AC again and sometimes get my Compressor to kick in and cool my house down completely with no issues. I just notice whenever I change to heat and back to AC I usually have to follow the steps again to get compressor to engage. I opened up the air handler and the drain pain has no water in it. No condensation or ice built up. I did replace the float switch a few months back when that was having issues. My home is only 3 years old. It's electric air handler. Lennox, Model number is CBX25UH-036-230-1.
Any ideas what can be causing this? before when I had float switch issues, my pan use to fill up with water a lot. I had to clean the pan all out and the new builder had lots of crap in the pan. Could something be stuck? I pour little bleach down the drain every time I change air filter about every 2-3 months. Help!!
Thank you!
