That could be dangerous if you aren't careful or aren't exactly sure how or what to do. I'm gonna go ahead and say hire someone for that job. There's plenty of oter jobs you can do yourself.

I agree if you don't know how to do it electrical work is one of the things out there that can kill you if you mess up or burn down your house. You mess up drywall you apply a bit more mud and sand some more, but you mess up electrical it can be fatal and it is not forgiving.
