Dull spots on wooden countertops

I have beautiful wooden countertops but a couple of spots have become dull. I don't know if it was from water or what. I think the countertops are about 10 years old. I've applied Teak oil, mineral oil, butcher block cream.

I’ll bet at one time they had some finish on them, poly or something and they got wet or hot and it caused the white dull look.


They look pretty. I would sand them out get rid of the scratches and then do your oil finish.
