Flashing?

I've finally got my issue resolved with my neighbor's roof and my wall..However, there is a space between the gutter and the exterior/siding and water just runs down. I'm trying to find a way to pitch the water away from the siding. Does anyone have any suggestions? would flashing work?

Flashing should work if the water is coming between the gutter endcap and the wall. It should tuck under the course of siding above and divert into the gutter.

Post a picture of the roof in that area.
Most likely your missing the kickout flashing on the roof.

Also looks like someone tried using expanding foam in that area, it will do nothing but as shown make a big mess.
