Front Door Weatherstripping

I am a novice seeking advice on the type and size of weather stripping to purchase and how to replace. I assume I can simply pull out the existing weatherstripping and insert the new, but want to know what I am getting into before removing the current. Anything I should be aware of before doing so. Appreciate the help and advice.

Thank you for the fast response. What do I call that type of weather stripping pictured ? I hear V Groove, Foam Strip, Spring Vinyl, etc….And to they come in different thickness? Appreciate the help !
