Garage Security

I like many people often leave the smaller door to my garage open and keep the larger ones shut as it is a way to keep the garage cooler and save on A/C bill if it's connected to your house. What kind of security system would be useful in preventing thieves from entering during the night or at least alerting to them?

get some garage door cutoff sensors put them across the bottom of your door to a light that goes off in the house when something goes between them

How about a motion light ot you could put a motion sensor with a buzzer inside the house. They have wireless ones to now.

Personally, I go with a couple of pit bulls or Rotties for my house but if dogs aren't what you're looking for have you thought about getting a wrought iron security door?
