For those of you who are retired military and use your military discount at lowes, do you know there are several items including lumber and appliances that you can NOT use your discount. I worked there on and off, for 5 years and they have really eroded the benefits for associates and military retirees.
Also found out today that in some stores, they're adding a PetCo section! That place is really going to the dogs -- no pun intended!!

Yes. Google Lowes and Petco partnership

• In a program expansion, Lowe’s is growing its Petco shop-in-shop partnership from 15 stores to nearly 300 locations by the end of the year.
• Lowe’s Petco store-in-stores will carry a range of products including nutrition, flea and tick solutions and Petco private brands, according to a company announcement.

Wow, what's next...? Merging with Proctor and Gamble, so one could buy their tampons and 2'x 4's all in the same store?

Thank God I still use Home Depot!
