Hi there,
I'm a relatively newbie when it comes to home repair and improvement, but I'm quickly learning to be handy and have done basic things (eg. painting, patching dry wall, etc).
Recently moved into a home where the duct grill in the basement ceiling wasn't installed properly and was taped. When I removed the grill, it appears that nails on either side of the grill are unable to latch onto the ceiling because the ceiling dry wall is broken or too short.
I've attached pictures to clarify.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? It keeps falling whenever the fan in the HVAC is on overnight.
Thanks!
