American Standard toilet has run intermittently since installed. I've replaced the filler valve with something like this:

Both the original and the replacement, intermittently run. The replacement part was every bit of $8 at the local store. I've checked my incoming water pressure, city water, and it peaks at 65 PSI. I left the gauge on for a week to monitor it's tattle tail.
Is there perhaps a higher quality valve you folks would recommend?
Many Thanks!
