Looking into a on-demand water heater. The big tankless is on the other side of the house from the kitchen. It takes a very long time for hot water to get the the kitchen faucet and dishwasher. An on-demand would solve the problem ... but ... they do have problems. Some (BOSCH) need servicing every 6 months to examine the anode because they die very fast. Failure to do the check-up voids the "6 year warranty." Plus their customer service tends to be rude.
