Paint Droplets when spraying

I just purchased a Fuji Semi Pro 2 and have a question regarding larger droplets on my overspray. As you can see in the attached picture I have larger droplets coming out of the sprayer when I am spraying. It does not appear to be impacting my project (yet) but I am not sure if I am thinning the paint out to much, not enough or doing something else wrong. Or if this is normal.

I am using Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel paint and I am thinning it out with water.

Any insight is appreciated.

Is this a new sprayer? If not, was it cleaned properly?
Is this new paint? Was it filtered properly?
Have you confirmed the correct viscosity? (Optimum Viscosity for Paint Application)

To me, it looks like your tip is too large, or it is thinned too much.

Yes, it is a brand new sprayer. The only thing I sprayed through it was water to test out the spray pattern. The paint is also brand new and I did filter it out with a paint strainer as recommended. As far as the viscosity I am not sure. Based on some research I did it believed I thinned it enough but I am not sure, that was kind of my question.
So I used a 1.8 mm tip that I ordered instead of the 1.5 mm tip that came standard with the unit. Should I try to think it the same amount and use the 1.5 mm tip or just thin less? I was told the 1.8 mm was better for latex paint.

My best spray was when I used the 1.8MM tip without thinning, but I did apply the latex additive.

Spraying properly is alot of trial and error, with good testing (which you are doing) and understanding the equipment you are using..

That's good to hear. I think I am going to stick with the 1.8mm tip and keep testing things out and experimenting. I might look into getting some latex additive as well and use that rather then water.
