Has anybody ever painted the inside of a air compressor with por 15 to help prevent corrosion? My buddy told me he poured some in his and rolled it around til it was all covered. I know it would probably flake over time but I'm also putting in a inline filter.

If your tank isn't brand new, the rust is probably worse than por-15 can treat - and simply painting over rust has never worked in the history of painting...

I just put a ball valve on the bottom of my tank, and blow it out it every time I am done usin it. Keep it open and the water DRAINs out overnight.
