Reaching high things around the house is hard..

I have a hard time reaching things that are high up around the house: Light bulbs, windows, ceiling fans, ac vents, etc.. I would really like for this to be easier for me and for everyone i know that suffers from the same thing: Not being able to reach. It make home improvement hard to do!

I am also a student who is looking for a way to remake the stepladder into a tool that is more stable, more functional, and better in general. So i made a survey that i hope a lot of people can answer because every answer I get will help me to define what the root of the problem is, and by doing so, i will be able to fix it in the future.
