I would like to install a Rocker Switch to turn off/on an outlet that will only be used to power a Converter that powers 2 small 9 volt lights. Clerk at Menards said this would work... the Rocker Switch has the following info on the package: ( 16 A 125 V AC / 10 A 250 V AC Heavy Duty ) SPST Rocker Switch.
Is this information correct... I will only be using the outlet for sending power to the small lights once a month or so. But of course, I would perfer not to set the house on fire.
    Thank You
