I'm looking at installing a kitchen backsplash with a mosaic combination of glass, stainless steel and what I thought was a natural stone but on the back of the packaging says its mica. Its a very smooth feeling stone that seems to have a bit of a gloss on it. Will I have to seal this prior to grouting?

Sealing prior to the application of the grout will affect the grout's adhesion.

Grout first, then seal the mica and the grout.
