What kind of cords? Are they thick cable cords or thin stereo cords?
You can always tack your wire along the wall/ceiling to keep it out of the way. They sell tacks for that specific use at Wal-Mart and Lowes.
I've never had to hang more than 1 wire, but I as I am writing this, I am finding myself wondering how I would neatly hang 2 or more wires.
