I am thinking about doing stucco on my house myself since the pricing for the workmanship is going through the roof judging by the quotes I got back already.
I understand it is not easy and time consuming but I have done everything else so far so I might be able to tackle this project.
The plan is to use 1.5" or 2" Styrofoam and stucco on top of it.
Can anyone point me to some fairly complete DIY instructions or manual how it should be properly done? My understanding is that there is waterproofing etc involved so it would be nice to have some complete directions to judge the complexity of this job.
Also if anyone would like to give some pointers what to watch for/avoid, etc I would greatly appreciate that.
