What does the code book say about 120v outlets outdoors in the vicinity of a swimming pool? Is it at least 10 feet away from the pool's edge. Been a while. I can't remember.

I'm not an electrician, but I would guess GFI's would be mandatory and acceptable.

True. But what I need to know is what it says as pertains to clearance. They must be so many feet away. And at least one, I believe, to be within 25 feet or so from the water's edge.

I would think that is a local issue and you may have to get with your county inspectors to get the real scoop.
