My Frigidaire PTHP hs decided to stay in the resistance heat mode after defrosting. When I notice it I pass through the cooling mode briefly or place it in the fan mode for a little while before going back to heat. Last winter it would behave properly above 45°F. My previous unit was an Amana and it was good down to 40°F and would properly go back back to HP mode when outside temp went above 40°. Today we got up to 53° and I think every time it defrosted it got stuck. I guess I need to find a schematic. Any suggestions as to the culprit?
