Purchased a thin plastic window covering with a slight design to keep out wandering eyes from our bathroom.
Cut to size and told to clean and apply thin coating of water using spray bottle and squeegee till plastic is secure.
Seem to work until next day, it's on the floor. Question: Is there anything I can add to the water to make it adhere
little more?
Thanks for any suggestions....

Steps of installation:
1. Clean the window or glass plate, including the corners;
2. Measure the size of your window, reserve an extra 2 cm / 0.8 inch for cutting the film;
3. Peel off the back protective film;
4. Spray plenty of water on both your window and film;
5. Place the smooth surface on your window;
6. Remove air bubbles using a scraper(Here is not included);
7. Cut the extra film to finish.

Here is a product for application, from HD;
