Shall we talk about J6?
"It was fun, got to see the Capitol building, cops were polite and helpful, senators were smaller in real life than on TV, some of the tourists wore costumes, would recommend doing this again next year."

Seriously, I hope one day Paul Greengrass will make a "Flight 93"-style docudrama about it. But he probably won't, because it just wasn't very interesting.

I got up and shimmed behind some of the boards in my bathroom to try to tweak them and get them more plumb. Still not perfect but its a lot better. I still have more work to do to get things leveled out more. My friend said he'll try to come out sometime this week to help. He's been busy fixing up his house. He's getting a new sink. He's thinking of getting a whole new base cabinet unit bc some sort of leak messed up the particle board cabinet he's got in there. It's the only one of the cabinets that came from a big box store. The rest came from the Surplus Warehouse and are made of plywood and oak.

Never heard of him, but since he's a Brit, I can't watch anything of his because I don't have a way to translate into English.

Amazon has Vitamin-C 8 lbs for $49.99. I am going to switch to powder so that I can more easily control dosage (and save money).

He made the movies "United 93" (I accidentally called it "Flight 93" earlier) and "Captain Phillips", though his best-known movies are probably the "Bourne" series with Matt Damon.

Oh I just found out he made a docudrama about the Anders Breivik shooting, I'm gonna have to check that out. His movies are pretty consistently good.

I'm thinking of buying bulk ground cayenne pepper to use as a base for hot sauce. It should prove to be a fraction of the cost of store bought sauces. I don't have enough sun to grow cayenne.

Oh. Seen Captain Phillips, that was tolerable even though Tom Hanks is in it.

I just discovered I've never thought about this before right now, but that I have a list formed in my head of Tom Hanks's finest movies:

- Bachelor Party
- The Burbs
- Saving Private Ryan (he kinda stayed out of the way and just let that movie be good around him I think)
- Apollo 13
- Catch Me If You Can
- Captain Phillips

And he executive produced the series "From the Earth to the Moon" which was excellent.

That's what Closed Captions are for. I watch a lot of the British programs on PBS and use closed captions. I've noticed that CC will pick up things when I can't even hear that anything is being said at all-- I use it on regular programs as well bc I have some trouble hearing. There will be dialog that is off screen where I don't even know someone is talking.

I came to the realization that my tub is in the alcove crooked. That is why the walls seem so wonky around it. It needs to pivot to counterclockwise a tad but that is not happening. That sucker is not budging.

I stopped by my friend's house to drop off some arthritis cream and to get him to help me get an old paint roller sleeve off the roller. My arm is still too borked to pull forcefully enough. I hurt it removing the cap from my deodorant. LOL. Friend got it loose and then held it steady while I pulled it off with my good arm. He has paint and I will bring over my rollers, tape, and tarp to paint the new drywall sometime this week.

I saw an entertaining product. Sick Buddy. Toilet bowl cover with a cup holder designed for puking. https://www.amazon.com/SICK-BUDDY-E/dp/B09VCTLGX3/

Oh, and this monstrosity. No hate for rainbows, but covers on the actual seats would get filthy so fast: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B6JGC3Y9/

I also am now looking for waterproof LED lights that can be installed in the shower ceiling easily. Something with a remote control or motion sensor. Halo seems to make some but they don't have remotes. Would have to get a remote switch I think.

Did you ever watch Benny Hill? Definitely need help understanding him. Funny as heck though! Benny was actually in the movie, “Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines!”

I loved Forest Gump and oddly Joe vs The Volcano. Saw his newest movie the other day, Otto. It was pretty good though somewhat sad.

Benny Hill was great. I also used to watch The Tracey Ullman show. Fun fact: The Simpsons was first on that show and was a spinoff. I enjoy a lot of Monty Python as well.

I loved Forest Gump and Joe vs The Volcano as well. I was also fond of Big and Turner & Hooch. I've always liked Tom Hanks.

I'm currently looking up repair kits for my tub to cover up the big gouge where the enamel/porcelain got scraped off. I'm seriously considering this product: https://www.amazon.com/White-Surface-Repair-Kit-Countertops/dp/B07N2KBDH3/ because it cures in 20 seconds with a blue light pointed at it. The price is a bit higher than I'd like for such a small area, but I think it is pretty cool looking.

I have to go pick up a prescription and check mail.

Ron, I love that you'll have that easy access from behind. Unless you drywall over it, which I hope you don't.
I hear what you’re saying. I always thought that airplanes left open on the inside made more sense, like military style. The plastic interiors have to be taken out for inspection on a regular basis and it’s a real hassle. However, in the case of our wall, I don’t think the boss would approve.
I ordered a few hardware parts for my DIY guitar today and listed my old one for sale (it's a cheap Ibanez that was my first ever guitar, bought almost a quarter-century ago!). I'm not sentimental about it. Like I said, I don't have GAS for guitar stuff.
What kind of setup do you use with your guitars ie. amp, pedalboard, stomp boxes, etc?

I ran across this info today. It may have already been posted somewhere.
Soybeans - 94% GMO in 2020
Corn - 92% GMO in 2020
Cotton - 96% GMO in 2020
Canola - 95% GMO in 2013
Sugar beets - 99.9% GMO in 2013

Probably most true, but Canola isn't a plant, it's from Rapeseed which isn't listed...

https://www.isaaa.org/gmapprovaldatabase/cropslist/default.asp
Although they look similar, canola and rapeseed plants and oils are very different. Canadian scientists used traditional plant breeding in the 1960s to practically eliminate two undesirable components of rapeseed — erucic acid from oil and glucosinolates from meal — to create “canola,” a contraction of “Canadian” and “ola.” Canola oil is prized for its heart-healthy properties with the least saturated fat of all common culinary oils.
