"It was fun, got to see the Capitol building, cops were polite and helpful, senators were smaller in real life than on TV, some of the tourists wore costumes, would recommend doing this again next year."Shall we talk about J6?
Never heard of him, but since he's a Brit, I can't watch anything of his because I don't have a way to translate into English."It was fun, got to see the Capitol building, cops were polite and helpful, senators were smaller in real life than on TV, some of the tourists wore costumes, would recommend doing this again next year."
Seriously, I hope one day Paul Greengrass will make a "Flight 93"-style docudrama about it. But he probably won't, because it just wasn't very interesting.
He made the movies "United 93" (I accidentally called it "Flight 93" earlier) and "Captain Phillips", though his best-known movies are probably the "Bourne" series with Matt Damon.Never heard of him, but since he's a Brit, I can't watch anything of his because I don't have a way to translate into English.
Oh. Seen Captain Phillips, that was tolerable even though Tom Hanks is in it.He made the movies "United 93" (I accidentally called it "Flight 93" earlier) and "Captain Phillips", though his best-known movies are probably the "Bourne" series with Matt Damon.
Oh I just found out he made a docudrama about the Anders Breivik shooting, I'm gonna have to check that out. His movies are pretty consistently good.
That's what Closed Captions are for. I watch a lot of the British programs on PBS and use closed captions. I've noticed that CC will pick up things when I can't even hear that anything is being said at all-- I use it on regular programs as well bc I have some trouble hearing. There will be dialog that is off screen where I don't even know someone is talking.Never heard of him, but since he's a Brit, I can't watch anything of his because I don't have a way to translate into English.
Boy, that is super nice! Too bad I already installed this double vanity with the crappy granite top! I’m sure Ruby wouldn’t mind sharing the sink if we had something as nice as this one.
Did you ever watch Benny Hill? Definitely need help understanding him. Funny as heck though! Benny was actually in the movie, “Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines!”That's what Closed Captions are for. I watch a lot of the British programs on PBS and use closed captions. I loved Forest Gump and oddly Joe vs The Volcano. Saw his newest movie the other day, Otto. It was pretty good though somewhat sad.I just discovered I've never thought about this before right now, but that I have a list formed in my head of Tom Hanks's finest movies:
- Bachelor Party
- The Burbs
- Saving Private Ryan (he kinda stayed out of the way and just let that movie be good around him I think)
- Apollo 13
- Catch Me If You Can
- Captain Phillips
And he executive produced the series "From the Earth to the Moon" which was excellent.
I hear what you’re saying. I always thought that airplanes left open on the inside made more sense, like military style. The plastic interiors have to be taken out for inspection on a regular basis and it’s a real hassle. However, in the case of our wall, I don’t think the boss would approve.Ron, I love that you'll have that easy access from behind. Unless you drywall over it, which I hope you don't.
What kind of setup do you use with your guitars ie. amp, pedalboard, stomp boxes, etc?I ordered a few hardware parts for my DIY guitar today and listed my old one for sale (it's a cheap Ibanez that was my first ever guitar, bought almost a quarter-century ago!). I'm not sentimental about it. Like I said, I don't have GAS for guitar stuff.
Probably most true, but Canola isn't a plant, it's from Rapeseed which isn't listed...I ran across this info today. It may have already been posted somewhere.
Soybeans - 94% GMO in 2020
Corn - 92% GMO in 2020
Cotton - 96% GMO in 2020
Canola - 95% GMO in 2013
Sugar beets - 99.9% GMO in 2013
Although they look similar, canola and rapeseed plants and oils are very different. Canadian scientists used traditional plant breeding in the 1960s to practically eliminate two undesirable components of rapeseed — erucic acid from oil and glucosinolates from meal — to create “canola,” a contraction of “Canadian” and “ola.” Canola oil is prized for its heart-healthy properties with the least saturated fat of all common culinary oils.Probably most true, but Canola isn't a plant, it's from Rapeseed which isn't listed...
