It’s time once again to repaint one or more sides of my house. I’ve done it before and know that if you don’t go through living h*ll of good prep, you may as well burn your money.
In the past I’ve used a Makita disc sander to strip the clapboards to bare wood. But I’m no expert and I leave various gouges in the wood.
Is there a better sander to use? Or something else, such as a heating gun?
