That’s what I’m doing. There was galvanized water pipes in the house originally and then after adding the laundry room they transitioned to CPVC. It’s really pretty messy. During my kitchen update, i was removing sections of galvanized under the house and replacing with pex and I broke the galvanized line that went from the main crawlspace, under a slab, to the laundry addition. To fix that problem, I ran a Pex line up a kitchen wall to the attic and then down to the laundry room (which is on a slab). So now, there is just CPVC and Pex in the laundry room and the galvanized has been cut out. Also, I am thinking about buying a push connect washer inlet/outlet box. Or..... cutting off some of the copper and changing to pex and installing a pex box. WWYD?
I really wish they would replace our street but it isn't a high priority for the county. Our street is a dead end with 16 owners on it. The county comes out once a year and patches the holes and calls it good. I asked the workers last year if they were ever going to resurface the street. He said, "Probably not."Today I woke up to jackhammers. They were doing street work near by. Not the best thing to wake up to but happy they are getting it done!
Yikes! This morning I got up early and managed to get my portable tablesaw into the back of my truck-- although I dropped it on my foot a couple of times. So my foot looks like this:
I need to get some supplies for my project soon. I need some drywall and the only way I have to get it home is on my trailer. It's raining today so maybe Saturday or Sunday.Popped in to Walmart for cheap painting tarps, tape, and some shelf brackets. Got my friend to sit down for a few minutes while I painted the walls around the new entertainment center he built. It dried fast so I got a 2nd coat on.
Every school morning, we wake up to the sound of a bass speaker in a car. Some kid picking up another one for school.Today I woke up to jackhammers. They were doing street work near by. Not the best thing to wake up to but happy they are getting it done!
