Some OSB dimensions for roof to avoid?

I am building a small shed. walls are 7' 6" x 16'. The roof made from OSB must be larger. Is there some dimensions that are better so that one will never need to cut a tile to fit? Is there some standard as to what the best dimensions are for a roof, the OSB, for the easiest tile roof fit?

    H shealthing clips--1/2 inch for 7/16 OSB

Home Depot does not sell 7/16 H clips for 7/16 OSB. They only have 1/2 inch. Would 1/2 inch be too loose for 7/16 OSB?

    Installing expanson anchor bolts

Can I simply place expansion anchor bolt into the concrete before it sets? Do I have to drill on the concrete after it is set? Or is it best to insert slightly small diameter rod, say 7/16, and just drill slightly to 1/2 inch for 1/2 inch anchor bolts. I am talking about the type of...

Pressure Treated Lumber sill and ordinary nails

When I attach studs to the PT lumber sill on top of concrete, can I use my nail gun with ordinary 3 1/2 inch nails, or are special screws for PT lumber needed? I believe it is usual to hammer nails in directly from the end, ie going directly thru the sill plate, not toe-in slanted. Am I...

    pouring concrete slab foundation--stages

In terms of final strength, is there a difference if you pour the concrete a couple of inches a day over three or four days? Does the concrete slab have to be poured to full thickness in the same session and cure together as a slab? Thanks

    concrete slab thickness--southern Cal

My house has a typical southern cal slab floor. The slab is mostly about 8 inches thick. But the slab for the garage is only about 3.5-4 inches thick, except at the perimeter which appears to be the same thickness as the rest of the house. I plan to build an addition of about 270 sq...

    pigeon infestation--cleaning after

Some pigeons gained access to my attic. I had thoughtlessly allowed the situation to persist for a couple of years, thinking that they were just scratching on the roof. The pigeons are gone, and a few must have been trapped in side the attic and are now bare bones. I plan to cut open and...
