Hi everyone
I'm having an issue with my newly insulated roof and am looking for some advice. The ceiling has not been finished yet so the insulation is still visible. I am noticing some small very dark brown stains in a few spots. I am looking to find out if the thoughts are these are multiple roof leaks? Or possibly just sap from the wood used for the roof beams? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It is a pitched roof with cathedral ceiling, no attic. Shingles on roof with ice guard at edges under shingles and asphalt paper under shingles for the rest.
Thanks in advance.
