Hello and electrical issue from a new member

I am stuck on a job that has to be done before I can go home. And I have been at this for several hours and I don't know anything else to do.

I have a 120 volt circuit that most outlets are reading hot/ground reverse. A couple read hot/neutral reverse. Most of the outlets work but a couple don't. Is this a open neutral?

Can you post a photo of how the bad outlets are wired?

Is this something that just occurred, or what changes were made?
How are you testing these outlets?

Are any of the receptacles that appear to be inoperable, in a room where they may be controlled by a switch.
