Kenmore portable dehumidifier

About 35 years old. Worked very well when new. Sat for many years unused and now function is poor. The coils don't seem to get very cold. Can these be recharged?

Can you see the refrigerant coil to see if its a crimped end or a fitting like on a car a/c system?

I took the cover off and found a single tube that was crimped. Oh, well, it was worth a shot.
