Lady Bugs By The Gazillion....

For Sometime now come Spring when the Clocks are turned ahead and the Sun rides Higher in the Sky.. Lady Bugs, the (Stinky & Bite) kind seem to be coming out of the woodwork literaly by the gazillion.. All the Windows & Doors have been adequately taped around the framework .. They seem to lay Dorment in the Heat Vents till Spring.. Looking for any DIY ideas or suggestions to rid us of them... The Front of the House faces South so we are a Direct Hit from the Noonday Sun... Looking for any DIY Solutions / Concoctions to rid us of the Stinky Nusense... Cheers Thanks

Try a mixture of lemon juice and water in a spray bottle. They don't like the citrus acid.

Do you know if the lemon juice & water work on box elder bugs? Spring and fall they cover the south side of my house. They don't do any damage, but they are really annoying.

Haven't got a clue, try it and let us know if it works. Can't hurt much to try it.

Ladybugs are beneficial and should not be killed. You are actually pretty lucky to have them. But if they are too much to handle, the info in the link might be helpful.
