Lathe

I recently purchase a 1960 rockwell 10x36 lathe. I remember back in the machine shop I used to work in we used some special grease for the open gears and screw. But with age comes memory loss and I can't for the life of me remember what the name of it was.

Anyone know what's best to use?

Any quality grease should work, and even the cheap stuff today is on par with the some of better stuff available in the 60's... I'm quite fond of molygraph, but there's plenty of other options.
