Hello!

My wife and I moved into my childhood home and just finished the interior....
Now for the exterior...
All of the windows are wrapped in white aluminum. Underneath the windows is a big white square we'd like to fill in with something...

Ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.......

If it was your house do you know what was in the opening originally?

Looks like a tall window was there or a door perhaps.

Dressing it up with anything will still make it stand out. Maybe cut out the lower fill in framing and brick the opening to match. Paint the white square a color close to the brick? Then plant a shrub in front of it.

Is this just one place or are there more of them?

Welcome to the forum

What you see (minus the shingles we were trying) is original. There are 3 windows like this one and a long picture window with a rectangle under it.

There used to be a “picture frame” centered in the squares.

I'm with Bud on this one, anything you do is going to stick out like a sore thumb.
A real mason could make it look like it was never there.
