We have a 16x24 (I think) shed we finished inside with insulation and drywall. It’s our workshop. We had a mini split installed. That was about five years ago. It cools hardly at all. We’ve had the HVAC company that installed it come work on it twice - very expensive - and it cools for a while but this time it hasn’t made it through even one summer before it stopped cooling. Warranty? The HVAC company says “sorry. Model is discontinued. No warranty”. That sounds fishy to me, but whatever. Today we washed the coils and cleaned the indoor filters. Got cool air for a few minutes but now it’s blowing warm air again. I need advice. Add a dehumidifier to the shop? Call a different HVAC company? Pursue the warranty angle?
