Anybody have any good ways of mounting yard tools in the yard? Something better than a couple of nails poking out of wall. Can anyone help? I haven't been able to find any good efficent ideas.
 
I'm not sure what you mean by "in the yard", but I have these in my shed:

Im sorry, I meant in the garage, not the yard. That is a great idea you have there. How did you install it? What exactly did you use? If you wouldn't mind.
 
The metal holders were about $6 for a pair of two of them (4' long) at the local hardware store, screwed to 1x2 furring strips (about $2 for an 8' length). They're installed in pairs with an offset, so I can hang tools on each layer without them hitting each other. I have two pairs of them in the shed, and can store quite a few tools that way.

Normally there would be a lot more tools there, but somehow after the last project everything ended up stuck in the stand for my table saw, rather than back on the hooks where it belongs. :)
