Hi all,

So, I'm not sure the material of my washtub, is it granite or marble or something else, but I just realized that the spot where I usually put my bottled handsoap turns yellow.

if it helps, the handsoap is a brand sold in walmart -> walmart handsoap

How can I remove this yellow stain? I tried brushing, it didn't work. the handsoap in that picture is the culprit for this stain.

Please help!

Thanks

I just checked, it seems that the material is actually compressed wood.

Try a teeth whitener, cover and let it sit for a day.

Yep, I'd imaging something like baking soda could help with this.

If it was a material like porcelain I would recommend trying toilet roll soaked in bleach and left on there, but not sure how that would react with wood.
