No texture

In my garage the drywall is unpainted and untextured. It's a brown color and looked like this when I bought this house. The seems have been taped and everything but I'm thinking about painting it. Would it look ok without any texture or anything?

My garage walls don't have any texture either and in my opinion, the walls look just fine to me. Wish I had a picture to show you but I don't. Sorry.

The only reason for the texture is to help hide the imperfections left from a less than satisfactory job done mudding and sanding the drywall. There is no reason to texture the walls or the ceiling if you don't want to. Just prime and paint as you would any other wall.
