Hi everyone,

I have a new driveway blacktop later down, and I need to wear spiked boots to walk on ice after snowfall.

Does anybody know if this will damage my new blacktop?

The boot sole material is Vibram.

Thanks, Larry

The Vibram will do no damage.
Even if you strap on some spikes like for ice fishing, don’t worry about it.
The cold asphalt is very hard.

Welcome to the forum.

A few scratches to the driveway are nothing compared to a broken hip.

If you hire the driveway plowed ask around for someone with a plow truck with a rubber cutting edge. They work beautiful.
