repairing sheetrock

Is the best way to repair sheetrock to just replace the whole section? Someone has punched a hole in my wall in the garage.

Unless you plan on hanging something there, you could just get a little spackle to cover the hole up. I guess unless it was a HUGE hand that made a HUGE hole.

Yeah they have some stuff at Wal Mart that is pretty cheap and easy to use. Just put a little on your finger and smear it over the whole. I forgot the name of it but it comes in a white container with a red lid.

You can get drywall patch. It is a metal plate with adhesive on the back. Just stick it on the wall and mud over it.
