. Have a Retaining Wall which stretches through the Ditch and sits on top of a steel culvert pipe at the lowest point. The R/W stretches 12ft. and stands 4 1/2ft. @ the centre point.. The ditch has a 45' slope on bothsides.. The present R/W was built using 8x8 timbers, supported with steel fence posts sunk 5ft. in the ground which is well below the frost line. Problem now is the wood especially along the top has started to split and show signs of drying out.. Plus the R/W does have a very slight lean to it.. The area over the Ditch is all 2" & 5/8 gravel..
Need Thoughts & Ideas on using that new Micro Pro Sienna treated wood.. To use all 6x6 Size or Could I incorporate 2x6 planking ?? Bottom Line would like to Keep the Project Costs Afforable. :help:
