Stair Storages

I have a couple of stairs that lead from my garage to my kitchen inside the house. They are hollow and I was wondering if there was a way to get and store my compressor under there? Have you guys seen someone store something under a couple of stairs like that?

Usually stair structures are plenty strong as they are made to carry lots of weight. Just cut the drywall out, make a door and put it in, I've never seen a compressor in a stairwell but I have seen heavy equipment stored under a stairwell.

Lots of people are utilizing the space under the stairs for storage since storage space is important to everyone. You know what they say " there's never enough storage space in my house"
