That's great news! Do you lubricate between your deck and belt? My Precor doesn't currently require that but dunno with a DIY deck. Also I wonder if a sheet of Wilsonart Laminate would hold up better.

I think Laminate would hold up pretty well, and probably better than what I used. I use Armor All as a lube between the deck and the belt. I probably spray it once a month or so. Or whenever it starts to grab underfoot.
