Hi guys. Let me start by saying I was NOT running heat or AC just the fan. Had it running all day and when I came home I noticed a yellowish (see pics) oil that was only seeping from the condensate drain line where the fittings connect. Peeked inside the condensate pump and looks like there's a little oil mixed in with the water. Took the units front panels off found nothing! Took drain line off trap and blew into it and no clogs.
Why is there oil on the condensate line on the outside of it and why would this happen when I'm just running the fan?! What's going on here?
It's a 20yr old unit so I figured it's time for a new one just curious how much longer this will last.
