Hi everyone.

What material should I use to seal the joint between a dishwasher discharge hose and a connector?

Will Contact Cement work? Heavy Duty Contact Cement

Cheers,

Paul

No, contact cement won't do it.
You might need a new drain hose.
Mine had a rubber end molded onto it. Then it goes over the barb and retained by a hose clamp.
When I checked the internet, all the examples I saw were similar.

you screwed up, normally a dishwasher discharge hose has a smooth transition, looks like somebody cut it off .
