I painted my kitchen cabinets (for those of you who offered advice in my other post, I painted the old hinges instead of getting new ones) with SW ProClassic, which is really beautiful paint, by the way. When I asked the guy at the SW store about poly/clear coat, he looked at me like I was crazy and said I didn't need anything on top of the ProClassic because it cures to almost a factory finish.

Is this true? With small children and lots of cooking, my kitchen cabinets get a lot of use (abuse?) and I want to protect them as best I can. On the other hand, if a clear coat won't really make a difference, I'd be happy saving time and money! Anyone have experience with ProClassic?
