The washer and dryer I've been using is Whirlpool. Bought both together back in 2004 and both still work fine except for the dryer doesn't go off when the door is opened anymore. Probably the switch on the door needs to be replaced.
So, just curious if anyone would have a better suggestion for brand to go with verses buying Whirlpool again?
I'd want standard washer with the agitator in the middle (I've seen reviews on the new ones with no agitator and a lot of folks say it doesn't get clothes very clean), and both would need to be electric not gas. And, not going for any front loaders.
As a general rule, when I use a particular brand for a long time and don't have any issues, I'd normally go back with the same brand.
But, if you guys think some other brand should be considered, please let me know. Thanks.
