My son pulled the chandelier out of the ceiling. The fixtures is still in tact but where it was hung there is a hole so what can I use to hang it back where it was without causing more damage
Can add picture if needed?

We would need to know or see in photo the size and weight of what your fixture is and also what damage was done to what was in the ceiling, and also the damage to the ceiling.

If it is now hanging by the wires the first step would be to get it safely down.

Welcome to the forum.

I appreciate your reply I now learn that it was a swag hook that it was hanging on that was ripped out no wires are showing

The first picture is the full fixture.
Second one is the support wire wrapped around the chain because it snapped so it had no support.
Last one is where it ripped out at and apparently it's happened before and wasn't appropriately patched.

I’m a little confused.

If the swag hook is all that needs fixed and the location is where there is a joist behind the drywall just get a new swag hook or use the one you have and drill a new hole close to the old and screw the hook back in. If it was only screwed into the drywall then you need an expansion bolt something like a molly bolt.
