Do I need this specific battery?

I need to replace a battery on a Coleman RV.

The original one is a Exide Stowaway Deep Cycle.

Do I need that brand or is it the size and voltage that matter?

Any deep cycle will work, provided as Snoony says, it fits, is the same amperage and voltage. For cost savings, I try to get them at Costco or Sam's Club. They seem to have the best prices.

I have had great luck with Wal-Mart batteries. I'm not a fan of Wal-Mart themselves but there batteries beat the interstates I've run in my equipment

One other thing I have found the hard way when substituting a battery along with type and size make sure the terminal polarity is the same. Some batteries have +/- switched around.

lol that bite me in the butt.
i did not pay attention, just grabbed a battery and off I went.
I live 30 miles from walmart, had to go back and get the correct one
