I'm having a hard time finding new hardware to put on my back french doors. I've been to Lowes and Home Depot. The levers I found are made to go on the opposite side of the door that my current hardware is on. Also, the locking lever seems to stick out further from the door than the dummy lever. Any advice?

You can get matched sets that have both the reversible left and right sides at Home Depot.

The big box stores have closed out a lot of their old hardware lines and getting a dummy leverset may be beyond them in the style you want. The simplest solution is to bore the passive door for a regular lockset but no plunger, then stick a matching passage leverset into that hole. It's usually cheaper to buy one passage set than a pair of dummies anyway- go figure!
