i am trying to find out the best way to remove some scratches on the screen of a LCD telivision.

The best thing to do is to contact the manufacturer. They will know whether it is glass or plastic and the best method to get the scratches out.

Here are some tips BUT be assured, nothing will get a scratch out - this will only help hide it. If it is a light scratch, clean the surface of the screen. Use no solvents - only use a micro fiber cloth or very soft cotton cloth. Wipe very, very lightly. Never touch the glass with your fingers. Take some Vaseline and fill the scratch with it. Gently wipe off the excess Vaseline, being careful not to press too deeply so as to leave some inside the scratch. If it is a deep scratch, nothing will work. LCD screens are usually plastic where as plasmas are glass.
