So I helped my neighbor tear down a 150 year old barn. I now have quite a bit of barn siding. I want to use it to sheet the inside of my new barn I put up a couple years ago. I have concerns about insects. I won't use anything obviously infested of course, but; is anyone familiar with a way to treat the siding in some reasonably efficient and effective way? Can I tarp it and have is gased? I have seen some things about borax solutions. Looking for ideas, thanks.

I ran across a product called Boracare. It looks like what I may need. Anyone with any experience with this stuff? I'm wondering how far it goes and if it changes the wood's color. I'd like to keep the color about the same.
