Painting Stripes

I want to paint stripes on one of the walls in my garage. I'm not sure of the best way of doing so, however. I know that when using painter's tape you don't always get straight lines. Sometimes the paint still seeps under the tape. I need a really good way of doing this because I want my stripes to be straight lines and precise.

Use a low nap roller 5mm and don't put to much paint on. If you have to cut in again don't load your brush up to much and cut it in like it was a million dollar piece of wood lol

make a template out of two strips of plywood and a spacer above either end, and use a spray gun.
